So I was told I needed to post, so I’m going to…. Now about what? I’ve been thinking lately about finding something new to do… New job? Kind of, but not really. I talked to the woman about my thoughts and she suprisingly thought they were ok. I’ve been thinking of either getting a job at a certain “store” in Austin Texas, or working at the “headquarters” in Austin Texas. Compared to the DC area, everything is dirt cheap in austin, and I’d be able to advance my career a lot more in austin than here in the DC area. At some point I knew I would have to leave this area, and I knew i’d either have to goto cali or texas. Now to put my resume out at some jobs and see what happens. Nothing too soon, just looking since I got this on my mind.

So I worked over night today… I worked from 8pm-3am… We didn’t get out till around 4am though. Crazy shit, I have finished that shift and I’m about to go to work for my second job up in Baltimore from 8am-4:30pm. Who thinks I’m going to completely crash as soon as I get home?? Yea… me too. Now would you have gone to sleep when getting off the over-nighter? I was thinking about it, but then decided to stay up all night and just try to go without sleeping for about 30 hours. I would have gotton home at about 4:30am but I decided to just drive. It was a nice relaxing drive, went to my old house to just look. Saw that Mexicans had taken over the house and painted it fucking purple! Continued driving and ended up at Beltway Plaza in Greenbelt… Totally forgot how much of a shit hole this mall was. I decided to stop and go in the mall, went into Giant and got an energy drink to keep me going. Got back in my car, blasting my music with all the windows down (the cold air was keeping me awake) and decided to take back roads back to my house. About half way there saw there was like a police baricade. I was thinking it was like a security check point or something, but seemed like a very odd hour to have one (5am). So I had to go off my current course and of course I got kinda lost. I ended up driving the complete wrong direction until I found something I noticed. I ended up driving through a very very dark wooded area, popping out in East Laurel,  from there I simply drove to West Laurel to get home. I was a nice relaxing drive, something you don’t get a lot. No fucking idiot drivers to worry about, I could just cruise. So I got home and had about 50 minutes to kill before the woman woke up. I didn’t want to just watch tv so I went to get my computer to kill the time before I had to go to the second job. I got the computer but woke the woman up, not really, she was already awake… Made her breakfast trying to be a good boyfriend and now I’m blogging while she’s in the shower. I have nothing to bitch about right now, I feel so awesome. I don’t know if it was the relaxing day at work, the drive, or just that I’m so loaded on caffeine and mentally tired to where I can’t remember anything. My eyes are starting to burn, wow, this is going to be an exciting work shift. Who thinks I’ll make it without crashing during the day? I’ve done something like this before, when I was working 70 hours a week… I stayed up for about 30-34 hours, I can’t remember, and I have no idea what I did to stay awake. And I do think I snoozed off during that spread. Anyways, time to go off and make some money.

Found another cool browser for OS X. Flock… Makes bloggin fucking awesome and easy. Maybe I’ll start blogging more often… Yea, maybe I will…

So lets just recap here. I just posted two seconds ago, but my post was blank and I didn’t copy anything. Pretty funny considering what browser I’m using and what I’m trying to post about.

Sunrise Browser… This is an open source browser I’ve been using for a while now that I just love to bits and pieces. Whats so great about it? It’s fucking fast! Safari, Firefox, Camino, Omniweb, Shiira, these are all pieces of shit in the speed section of this test. Sunrise also has this cool thing where you can view the source of a page, edit the source, then click “make” and you can see what your edited source would look like. How fucking cool is that?! Now, with every open source project comes problems. And here’s my list…

Tabbed Browsing… not in this browser. In the forums the developer says he does not have the technology yet. I understand, but you need to jump on that. You’re lucky Apple came out with Exposé.

URL search field. Nice idea but bad for 90% of america. When I type news.google.com I want it to add the http:// like every browser has since fucking 1995. But in Sunrise it searches this in google as a string. Annoying

Download window. The downloads are fast, and they show up in this nice tiny window to not annoy you but then they annoy you. You click on the main window and now the download window is behind the main window. How do you get to it? Oh there’s this window menu, it’s gotta be listed in there, it’s not! Now you either have to move the main window or use expose to see the download windows again.

Annoying things there. But the fact I look past those and still use this as my numero uno browser has gotta say something about it. Use Sunrise for a bit.

So some days I get to work at 8:30 AM, which means a glorious drive on 95 South, then 495 West… Each day there is a ton of traffic on 495 west between exits 27 (college park) and 30 (route 29)… Now this is simply because of construction and a shit load of cars, so I can understand the traffic. Now there is always traffic on 95 south as well, before the 95-495 split… Now this traffic makes absolutely no sense and simply boggles my mind. There is a sign that displays whats going on on the roads, and every morning it reads the same… Expects delays on 495 west, exits 27-30… Again, it reads this every DAY. And now this is the cause of all the traffic on 95… the DAMN sign!!!! People are slowing down to read the damn sign! Now, I know I’m not the only person on the road that reads at a 1st grade level. Why is it that I can read this sign in 1 second, but other can’t. I know im not the only person that drives that same route every fucking day. It reads the same each day! What the fuck is the hold up people?! It’s the same shit every fucking day! So what have I done to resolve my stress on this issue? I no longer take 95… I take route 29 S to 495 west. I know skip all this bullshit traffic and it in fact saves me 15 minutes. I will never understand dumb fucking people.

Is profanity wrong? Of course not! It’s my right to use as an american. Now my question is, if I have this constitutional right to “Freedom of speech” why are there limits to it in the workplace? Would making a comment or reference to a hooker upset anyone? I’m sure it might… Now should I get in trouble for it? I think no. I think people need to stop being fuckin pansies and stop getting upset over stupid bullshit. I dont get upset if somebody says…. well…. anything really. You could call me a small dick having white boy cracker honkey with a homosexual cherry on top… and I’d laugh at it. If i have a right to freedom of speech, why can I not says such stupid things in the workplace. And why are certain people more easily offended by such stupid things. I feel I should be able to say whatever in the workplace, especially in the back where no customers can hear me. Seriously people, its the 21st century.

Is there a point where there can be no more improvement? Or is it just a lack of creativity. I’m thinking this right now because I’m trying to think of something that would make certain parts of my job easier, but I can’t think of anything. Is it because its already as easy as it’s going to get? Or is my brain just being retarded right now. There has to be a point where there just can’t be any more improvements but how long does it take to get to that point?

Maybe I’m just tired and my brain is telling me to stop thinking and goto bed. Maybe thats it… ZZZzzzZZZzzzzzz

This kind of goes along with Glen’s post. I’m just cruising the web today and I wanted to see if there was a new album coming out by this band I like, A.F.I. SO I decided to goto mtv.com to see if there were any news updates. WOW, took me 10 minutes to get to the band page. I’m running and iBook right now, 1.33 Ghz, it’s not a speed demon, but its not slow at all. I would consider this the normal consumer laptop. MTV.com is so slow and sluggish on this computer its disgusting. Why do I need a T3 connection and a Quad G5 to view a fucking website. Who’s idea was it to make EVERYTHING flash based. HTML, CSS, PHP. Thats the farthest a website should go, anything past that should be in limited supply. Nough said. Who’s with me? Goto MTV.com right now and see how long it takes you to get pissed off.

No, not that played out song from what, 6 years ago by Staind. But It’s been a while since I posted. Had a big move. Moved from Owings Mills to Laurel, MD. Two painful days that I am still feeling now. Living on the 4th floor SUCKS. But not having to pay rent now is uber awesome. Basement is coming along nice. We will have a game area with a pool table and a bar, a bathroom, kitchen, bed room, living room, and a huge walk in closet in our room. Along with 2 other storage closets. Gonna be nice, gonna have lots of hookah smoking. Filed my taxes tonight too. How come it was fuckin free last year, but this year I have to pay $9.95? Friggin retarded, but my return is more than double what it was lasts year which KICKS ASS!!!! Anyways, time to watch more Colbert Report. Nothing to bitch about today, sorry kids.
